Alleset Launches New Sustainable Basins and Trays Made From 70% Recycled Material

Alleset, a GRI company, has announced the launch of its new ECO² line of Sustainable Basins and Trays, featuring products made from 70% reprocessed SMS material. The new line reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to reducing environmental impact while maintaining the high clinical performance standards required in healthcare settings.

The ECO² collection is designed to reduce carbon emissions by using fewer virgin resins, incorporating biodegradable options, and reclaiming scrap materials that can be transformed into new medical-grade products. According to the document’s overview, this initiative expands Alleset’s mission of “Extending Care from Patient to Planet™” by integrating recycled content without compromising form, fit, or function.

After more than a year of material optimization, Alleset has developed a balance of recycled content and performance that matches the durability of its traditional basins and trays. The recycling process—illustrated on page 2—converts scrap SMS → reprocessed resin → finished products, ensuring consistent quality across the new line.

Alleset’s sustainable basins and trays are available in multiple sizes and styles (basins, emesis basins, rectangular basins, and multi-compartment trays). All ECO² versions mirror the ordering convenience of their traditional counterparts.
